Hurricane Irma

Living down here in Florida for 13 years…saw some strong hurricanes when my husband and I first arrived, then not much. Well, they are back again! I’ll share some experiences from here. It is now raining heavily, but the eye of the storm is far away near Naples, FL. Here’s a shot from NOAA yesterday afternoon….more to come!

The Foof!

The Foof! I’ve repainted the bedroom, but can’t put this thing away. Foof loves to use it as his bed, because it keeps the furry cat nice and cool! And he has his favorite toys there, of course.

Operation Day Anniversary!

One year ago on August 23rd, my head was sawed open. An awesome neurosurgeon, Dr. Arnold Etame, took out a huge percentage of a large tumor in my brain.
