I thought I might be scared or embarrassed if others saw the brain tumor operation scars on my forehead. Nope, I am proud of them! You can see in the photos that there are two scars. The top one is from the cut into the skin; the second one, closer to my left ear, is where the skull was opened. That surgery made a lot of changes in my head, but good ones. I feel like I am getting even closer to be myself again.
I also have to say that Dr. Etame, who took out the majority of the tumor, did a great job with his slicing. I believe he used the spot where I part my hair — he kept it simple!!
